The “1 Wyoming Goldback” contains 1/1000th ounces of gold, the 5 Wyoming Goldback has 1/200th ounces, the 10 Wyoming Goldback has 1/100th ounces, the 25 Wyoming Goldback has 1/40th ounces, and the 50 Wyoming Goldback has 1/20th of an ounce of gold. Wyoming Goldbacks allow for gold to be spent in small interchangeable increments, solving a 2,600-year-old fiat currency problem.
Theoretically, Wyoming Goldbacks could be spent, bartered, and traded anywhere around the world, because they contain of pure gold. Unlike gold coins, Goldbacks have varying premiums based on their gold content.
