Liberty Gold Coins
Pre-1933 Liberty Gold coins for sale are exceedingly popular among both Collectors and Investors. Liberty gold coinage has had several different designs over multiple denominations, ending in 1907 with Teddy Roosevelt’s gold Indian Head redesign.

Liberty Head gold is the longest-running design series in U.S. history, used for nearly 70 years (1838-1907), exceeding any other series’ run by nearly half a century. The Liberty Gold series consists of three designs from the third U.S. Mint Chief Engraver, Christian Gobrecht; the $2.50 Quarter Eagle from 1840-1907, the $5 Half Eagle from 1839-1908, and the $10 Eagle from 1838-1907.

The $20 Double Eagle from 1850-1907, was designed by the fourth Chief Engraver of the United States Mint, James B. Longacre, which had three designs: Type-I (1850-66), Type-II (1866-1876), Type-III (1877-1907). These beautiful Lady Liberty Gold Coins are some of the most well-known and beloved Pre-1933 gold coin designs, minted from the California Gold Rush to the Gilled Age when President Roosevelt’s new Indian Head design retired the Liberty Head series. Containing 90% gold, Liberty Gold coins are an excellent way to add diversity, liquidity, and enjoyment to investment portfolios.
