American Silver Eagles

American Silver Eagle coins are among the most popular modern collected silver coin, loved around the world for their beautiful design and precious metal content. As the official silver bullion coin of the United States Mint, it is traded on its silver content and rarity, not for its one-dollar face value. Authorized by Congress in the Liberty Coin Act of 1985, this 1 oz Silver bullion investment coin is guaranteed to contain one troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver.

First minted in 1986, Silver American Eagles popular with collectors, because of their beauty and often assemble date sets from 1986 to present, whereas Investors buy in bulk for its affordability as a precious metal asset that can be a hedge against inflation. Uncirculated Silver Eagles are minted at the U.S. Mints in West Point, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. The obverse adapted Adolph A. Weinman’s historic by “Walking Liberty” design, and the reverse features John Mercanti’s iconic heraldic eagle design, in which the coin is named for. Besides the bullion version, they are also struck in burnished uncirculated and proof finishes that are specially struck for collectors.
